Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By creating an account, accessing, or using LinguaBlocks, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

LinguaBlocks provides language-learning tools that can process subtitles and other supported content into enriched learning material. Features may be experimental, changed, limited, suspended, or withdrawn as the service develops.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials, and activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

4. Content you provide

You retain your rights in content you upload. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process that content and must not use the service to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

You give LinguaBlocks permission to store, process, transmit, and transform the content only as needed to operate and improve the requested service. Generated learning material may be reused for the same content and language combination so that identical work does not need to be purchased and generated repeatedly. Your account identity is handled separately from that reusable material.

5. Automated results

Translations, definitions, examples, classifications, and other automated results may contain mistakes or omissions. Review important results before relying on them. LinguaBlocks is a learning tool and does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

6. Paid features and account credit

Where a feature is paid, the price or estimated charge is presented before you confirm the operation. Payments are processed by Stripe. LinguaBlocks account credit is used for eligible services and is not a bank account or general-purpose currency.

If a payment, charge, refund, or processing result appears incorrect, contact us with the relevant transaction or file details so that we can investigate and correct any verified error.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• upload unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized content;
• bypass access, billing, file-size, rate, or other service limits;
• interfere with the service or use it to attack another system or person;
• attempt to access another user's account or private data; or
• use automated traffic in a way that harms availability for others.

8. Availability and account action

We work to keep LinguaBlocks available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, misuse, or protection of the service and its users.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, and deleted.

10. Responsibility and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LinguaBlocks is provided without promises that every automated result or feature will meet every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes may require additional notice or agreement where appropriate.
